Build Science Literacy Before the Science Series

The RS4K Leveled Readers introduce young learners (Grades K–2) to foundational science concepts using age-appropriate, atoms-first language. These informational text readers are designed to build early science vocabulary and reading confidence so students arrive at Science Book 1 ready to engage with real science.

K–2 Digital Teaching Dashboards
The Atoms First K–2 Teaching Dashboards give young learners a full structured science curriculum before entering the Science Series. Each grade includes lesson plans, printable student materials, and curated digital readers organized by unit. For the Printed Leveled Readers, we are working on finding a new Print Provider.

RS4K Digital Reader Library
The RS4K Digital Reader Library is a complete digital set of 71 leveled science readers organized by discipline—chemistry, biology, physics, geology, and astronomy. Students encounter accurate, atomic–molecular science language from the very beginning, building the vocabulary and conceptual foundation they'll carry through the full Science Series. For the Printed Leveled Readers, we are working on finding a new Print Provider.
