Most Grade 2 science programs describe forces as pushes and pulls without explaining what a push actually is at the physical level. Real Science-4-Kids goes deeper: forces are atomic interactions, atoms pushing on other atoms through electromagnetic fields. Students build on the atom they met in Grade 1, and the Grade 2 reader series sets the full Atoms First foundation they carry into Books 1 through 7. Start at your child's grade
Each Dashboard is a complete, self-contained year of science. If your child is in Grade 2, start right here: everything your student needs is introduced this year, and there is nothing from Grade K or Grade 1 to make up.
After completing Grade 2, students continue directly into Real Science-4-Kids Book 2 for grade 3, or Book 1 if they want to start at the beginning of the Science series.
