One coherent K–8 science system. Every book covers all five sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, geology, astronomy) across 22 chapters. Each Science Book spans a three-grade reading band: co-reading at the younger end, full independent reading at the top. Placement is a spectrum based on reading ability, not locked to a single grade.
Hands-on kits are closed for the season. Experiment Kits (Books 1, 2, and 5) and Activity Kits (Grades K, 1, and 2) reopen this winter. Books, dashboards, and digital access are unaffected: digital access begins immediately after purchase.
Placement is a spectrum based on reading ability. Each Science Book spans three grades: the younger end works with parent co-reading, and the top of the band reads fully independently. If your student has science experience, find the book your student is most comfortable reading and start there. New to the series? Start with Book 1 for elementary and Book 5 for middle school, so every student builds the foundation. Books 1 and 5 follow the same table of contents through our spiral learning method, and Book 7 carries students to the doorstep of high school science.
