Placement is ability-based: place each child by readiness rather than strictly by grade. The Grade 2 Dashboard and Science Book 1 meet around grades 2 to 3, where families move from the K–2 dashboards into the Book 1–7 sequence. RS4K is a complete K–8 Atoms First science system; students will continue with a future planned 2028 new High School series for grades 9–12.
